Aleksander Slyusarev

Alexander Slyusarev was born in Moscow in 1944. He has been a photographer since childhood, and also worked as a designer and professional translator of Italian. Slyusarev has been very influential and respected within the "seventies" group. His photographs have a spontaneous and even offhand quality. He was the first in Moscow to work in the "seventies" direct and intuitive formalist style.
